Overview

This Master has the institutional support of General Healthcare Department and INFARMED and has the following goals: develop professional skills that promote optimal management of healthcare resources through the application of different techniques and management procedures, assessment, auditing and analysis of scientific evidence based practices for a better response to population’s health needs.

In this scope, this master develops its own curriculum around two relevant themes: Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and the Auditing Quality (AQ), with reference to existing international guidelines in the international arena and the corresponding national legal framework.

The Master students that finish the first year (curricular part) with success will be conferred with a specialization diploma on Health Technology Assessment and Internal Auditing, according to Article 20 of the Decree-Law 74/2006 of 24 March, of the Portuguese Republic.

Tuition and Fees 2023/2024

National Students: 1900 Euros

International Students*: 6100 Euros

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 175 Euros

Note: The tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.

* in accordance with Decree-Law No. 36/2014, changed by Decree-Law No.62/2018, of 6th August, international students are nationals of a country which is not a Member State of the European Union and are not a legally resident in Portugal for more than 2 uninterrupted years by 1st of January of the enrolment year
